The Daily Classic, Light Roast

Air-Roasted Precision

Roasted slightly longer than a traditional light roast to develop a fuller body, our "light" leans into medium territory. It’s the sweet spot where brightness meets balance.

Small Batch Roasted Since 1935

There’s a reason this roast has been a staple in SF homes for generations. It’s consistent, approachable, and punches well above its weight in flavor complexity.

A Clean, Balanced Finish

Expect a bold roast designed to stand on its own or pair perfectly with milk.

Peak Freshness Guaranteed

We don’t stock shelves in a warehouse. Your beans are roasted only after you place your order and shipped immediately to ensure the volatile oils and aromas are at their peak when they reach your door.

The Graffeo Promise

In 1935, Giovanni Graffeo left Italy for San Francisco with a vision: to bring the soul of Italian coffee culture to a new generation of Americans. He opened a small grocery in North Beach, roasting beans by day, sleeping on a cot in the back room, and quietly perfecting what would become a San Francisco legacy.

What Giovanni built wasn’t just a business, it was a promise. That coffee could be extraordinary without being complicated. That pride in your craft, not flashy trends, was what set the great apart from the good.

Today, that promise lives on through Luciano Repetto, an Italian-American roaster who’s spent over 40 years honoring that legacy. Now 81, Luciano still roasts the same way: slow, careful, obsessed with detail. Just like Giovanni did.
